Hearing Aids

Behind the Ear (BTE)

A behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid hooks over the top of your ear and rests behind the ear. A tube connects the hearing aid to a custom earpiece called an ear mold that fits in your ear canal. This type is appropriate for people of all ages and those with almost any type of hearing loss.

Receiver in the Canal (RIC)

The receiver-in-canal (RIC) and receiver-in-the-ear (RITE) styles are similar to a behind-the-ear hearing aid with the speaker or receiver that sits in the ear canal. A tiny wire, rather than tubing, connects the piece behind the ear to the speaker or receiver.

In the Canal(ITC)

ITC hearing aids sit in the lower portion of the outer ear bowl, making them comfortable and easy to use. Because they’re slightly larger than IIC and CIC styles, they tend to have a slightly longer battery life and can fit a wider range of hearing losses

Completely in the Canal(CIC)

CIC hearing aids are custom fit to your unique anatomy using an ear canal impression to achieve maximum comfort and sound quality. These completely in the canal hearing aids come in a variety of skin tones so they are not noticeable when worn. They are easy to remove with a small, transparent wire. And, they have an assortment of features that improve sound quality, adjustability, and personalization.

Invisible in the Canal(IIC)

IIC hearing aids sit deep inside the ear canal, so it’s practically undetectable to everyone around you. Invisible hearing aids are the perfect solution for those who want a discreet hearing aid and have mild-to-moderate hearing loss.

Rechargable Hearing Aids

Hearing aids with rechargeable batteries can just be inserted into a recharging unit ,  when you are not using them. With the battery built into the hearing aid, it means you don’t have to worry about a battery going dead, and no more inconvenient hassles of changing the battery.
The rechargeable option is available in Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) In The Ear (ITC) and Behind The Ear (BTE) hearing aids.
